Hello to all ...............

As the GWRRA Saskatchewan Director, let me take this opportunity to welcome you to our District website, our Region, and in particular to the Saskatchewan District.

I've been a bike enthusiast for many years; I rebuilt and rode a 1948 Indian Chief Roadmaster for many years, than graduated to several new BMW's. I purchased my first Goldwing in 1996 and have been Goldwing all the way ever since. I joined GWRRA in 1999 it has been a great experience for my wife Gail and myself. From attending Region J's rallies in Ainsworth, BC. Lethbridge, AB. and last year in Whitehorse, YK, we have made a lot of good friends throughout our Region and the USA. Unfortunately we were unable to attend at Maple Ridge this past summer. For me personally, the major benefit has been the fellowship and sense of belonging to a group of people with a common interest. I also appreciate the rider education that I received, the security of traveling with the Goldbook in my trunk and looking forward to receiving the Wingworld publication each month.

As the Saskatchewan Director, part of my duties is to partner with the Saskatchewan Chapters and, to assist them in increasing interest/membership in GWRRA.

My personal objective is to get to know as many Saskatchewan members as possible to ensure everyone is getting all the benefits of belonging to GWRRA. I'm also convinced that there is the interest for several more chapters in our Province. I would also I like to see some annual Sask. District events where riders from all parts of Saskatchewan could participate and get to know each other. With the 2010 Region J rally being held in Saskatchewan, hosted by the Saskatoon Chapter will provide us an excellent opportunity to build on.
